Welcome to the shanty DunnJ, the gorge can be alot to take in. Its a huge body of water and as most do, big lakers are the main target during the day and burbot at night. There are alot that like to target bows and pups but that gets old after a few years for sure. As with anything you dont know if you dont go, practice makes perfect and there's always trial and error. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to do an overnighter this trip like the others but I will be doing a day trip friday for sure.

It was a great trip for the one day I got. More fish would have been a bonus but that's why it's fishing. Might be back sooner than expected

Well since the Cascade trip is delay a month due to ice conditions. I think another weekend at Anvil is the ticket. Jan 24th to 26th.

DAMN!  I just found out that there is a tournament on the Gorge the 24-26.  There are NO motel rooms available in Manila.  I guess I'll have to wait for a trip you guys make in February if that happens. :-[

Best of luck to all y'all.  I asked to be called if a room opened up, but did not get the call.  I'll have to pass on this one.  Maybe next time.   ;D

Looks like you'll be blinding some people at night with that new LED bar! Lol. Should make nighttime traveling much safer.

It will definitely do the job. Wired it up so when the switch is on low beam it's the stock light,  high beam gets the big lights.  My new rod rack block's the stock light, last trip out the stock light blew out also so it was an interesting ride back to the truck. I was watching the gps and my buddy was shining a flash light. I knew the ice was good where we were going but it still was creepy. Here's a couple more pics of the rack, auger, saw, light ect....
