Yes, Grubco.com is my choice. Have dealt with them many times with good success.

Just ordered spikes from http://www.vadosbait.com/.  Arrived in two days, very lively.  $9 / 1000.  Best price I could find.

If you have pet stores around, try that. I can buy a pack of 50 for $4 at petsmart, which is almost half the price of that many at a sportings good store. Plus they are of much higher quality too, wriggling much more.

Paul,
How are you keeping your spikes? And how is the survival rate on bulk bait.  I get 250 spikes at a time for about $4.50. I Keep them in the spare fridge in the garage.  Seems to do ok.  But I have never added in saw dust, oat meal or anything else to them. In the fridge they slow down quite a bit, but come alive when they are warmed up in your coat pocket. I may try supplementing them with some oat meal but I question if they eat anything at all when they are in such a cold environment.  What's your thoughts?  Thanks
