Atwood Lake Ice

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone was ice fishing Atwood Lake yet, Its one of my favorite lakes to fish, but its a bit of a drive there...Does anyone know if theres Safe ice out there? Mainly by the beach off of SR 39 is where i fish. Thankx
