I don't mind sharing places I fish, but when the place is so dang small it doesnt make sense to post it on the internet.  That's how places get fished out.  Look at Holter as an example, people post pics of buckets of Jumbo perch and teo years later the perch population is destroyed.  I like to enjoy the places I fish for a long time.

Good for you! One of my favorite things about ice fishing is solitude. It is far too easy loose that if one is not careful.

I found ice on Saturday, 4 inches with a little snow cover in one area and 3 inches crystal clear in another area.  Fishing was hot, in full view of a highway, had the place to myself but I don't expect that will last long.  And no I'm not going to say where but it is in MT.   I just might be there again this coming weekend, the clear ice looked like open water from the highway so hopefully those that drove by think I am crazy and folks will stay clear for a while

Exactly, lots of people google searching and up pops a forum or post.  Next thing you know there are a dozen people out on your honey hole and fishing is never the same.  I love the peaceful solitude of ice fishing.  Still enjoy the hectic derby's too but winter is my time to get out and away.

The rest of that ice fishing season I left the names of where I was fishing out of the 8 additional videos I made?  A year later and here you are still sore about that video?

I'm all about protecting a resource and form of recreation.  If that means I have to hurt some feeling because someone doesnt want to put in the leg work to find new spots to fish then so be it.  I'll gladly take that heat
