Aqua-Vu, Vex and Sealed Lead Acid batteries.....
« on: Dec 21, 2011, 12:22 PM »
A buddy scored a pair of 33ah sealed lead acid batteries for me.  They are about 12x8x6" in size.

I am going to build a shelf in my permanent shanty where my vex and camera will sit while fishing.  I would like to build these batteries into that same shelf for when im out there for extended periods and my batteries within the device dies.  How should I go about wiring that so it works with both units?

I also would mind being able to tap into those batteries for powering a small auxiliary light and possibly a circulating fan for at night time once my solar stuff dies out.

TIA!

You need to wire the batteries in "parallel" so your getting the capacity of both batteries but only are producing 12V. Do a search on Google or something for info about wiring two batteries in parallel.
