I made my fist ice trip to the big blue yesterday! Fishing was much better than i expected. 5 guys total went, two good old boys that have fished it for years showed us where they fish and a trick or two. We caught 12 lake trout with a few cutts mixed  in. Biggest fish was in the twelve pound range no scale just guessing on weight. One guy caught a a beautifully colored cutt that was 27"-28" long. Nice day on the ice. Ice was a foot plus, no wind and sunshine all day. Good luck, i would like to make it once more before ice off!!!

Where does it say that you can't have a permy?

Was this at Bear Lake?

Many years ago there was a shack on Fish Lake.  It wasn't fancy, but it stayed for weeks.
