Birch creek help!!!

Going out to fish birch creek res. how many poles? How is the ice. Where are somè good spot?  Any help would be nice.
The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing.

Havent heard any recent reports, but im sure its capped plenty good by now. Only one pole unless you get a 2 pole permit

Ice is plenty thick, it can be tough fishin, lot of work to get on the ice and seems more often than not ya go home empty--- BUT on the days that it works out its worth it! Like fishonone said try minnows or cut bait, and sometimes shallow (4'- 5' ) pays off. Good Luck let us know how ya do.

Did decent...not to bad. I iced 3 hooked into 3 but lost them. fished from 11 to 3. Got a late start. All three were big bows, fought really good. Friend caught 1 tiger that was medium.

Nice doomsday that beats the skunk, them bows had some girth to them this summer  :o X2 how was the road in?

Yep them bows have done well for themselves. Good on ya!! The road should be ok, ain't been up since last weekend, but we have only had a bit of snow out of this storm, not like y'all on the other side of the hill.

We're gettin pounded over here, dang lake affect wont let up. Good thing i registered the sled  :thumbsup: its going to come in handy on the view. We'll let you now when we're coming back up your way laroo, probably sometime after the burbot bash
