I went to waubay this weekend, and holy people. I bet there were at least 1000 people on that lake. Walleye bite is a sure thing in the deep water. Perch are very spotty, but if you find them, its a hay day. Vexilars come in really handy. With those perch, if you dont get a bite within 1 minute, get the hell out of there. I usually punch about 30 holes and just take some waxies fishing pole, and vex and go from hole to hole. You might have to work really hard to find those perch but its worth it.
