My kids find Ice Holes pretty entertaining, actually. I was watching some of it with them and saw the blue snow suit guy jump a bob house on skis........I knew it would not end well before he even tried it. I did find that entertaining though, sort of like watching Jackass guys do dumb shehite you know will be painful  ;D

I would have to check Nat.Geo.'s website to see how many episodes they shot. I watched the first four and was not impressed ,I also no longer find it among my channel guide listings show was slotted for 9 or 10 pm on Fridays . Thinking it is like other shows where they shoot/produce a limited number of episodes and then place another show/series in the same time slot.

I checked their website last night ...limited info on the show ...can't get to the watch episodes page...I like to think my riveting Email I sent had something to do with it ...but certain it was a fiscal decision ...may be they will rework the concept and make it a lil more like History Channel's Mountain Men ...I know they fuss around with the editing some but they don't make those guys total jack holes . ... speaking of editing the "stars" of Ice Holes I'm sure aren't to happy with the editing process either ...bet a lot of film was left on the cutting room floor depicting them in a much more favorable light .

I agree if they made it like Mountain Men or Ice Road Truckers it'd be a heck of a lot better.

Ditto the comments in last two posts or even if they modeled it after Nat Geo. show Life Below Zero . On page 3 of this thread there is a post by Potatosoupman he includes a link to a podcast he is involved with where he talks with the shows creator. The creator wanted to do the show as a documentary but like he said currently there is more money available for reality shows. It is the first show he has ever been involved with or had someone show an interest in producing easy to see why he let others have control.
