OK I won't name the body of water
I'm gonna try a BIG lake in the Standish area tommorow. Haven't fished it for a few years.....last time I was there, there was a big derby going on, I guess they have it there every year as long as people don't start falling through.......but I won't name the body of water......I'll be on channel 7 if anyone wants to say hello.....

I'll be up there tomorrow helping a buddy set up his shack. Checked it out this morning and there aren't many shacks out there yet. Snow's only a foot deep or so...ice seemed a little soft, but not slushy. Saw a guy walking off the ice with a couple nice trout last weekend. He said he was set up about 50 yds off shore. Good luck. My buddy's shack will be hard to miss once we get it up...shiny aluminum for wall sheathing. Sorry if anyone gets blinded!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

was out there today and the sleds do fine. there is now slush at all where we were but iffy for the wheelers. there may look like a foot out there at first glance but its drifted up pretty good and there are drifts all over knee deep.

Guys! Never mind BIG Lake, you'll only waste your time! I hear they're doing real good on
SEBAGO!
I know someone who's a second cousin of a guy who saw someone who knew of some good fish coming from there. So it's gotta be true!
