Never fished crystal lake

I never fished crystal lake and was wondering If there is anytricks or tips i should know about fishing it! anything would be helpful!
Tight lines hope to see ya'll out there! I was thinking about fishing by the boat ramp! any suggestions?

awsome thanks for the intel! i have smelt shiners and crawlers from today on panther i got the big skunked on panther! what depth should i run? should i keep in in the shallows like for bows in about 2ftof water? Im just new to maine icefishing trying to lean new patterns  What would you recomend?

I would also be careful of all 35,000 holes that are out there after the Derby,its like a mine field.. :clap: :clap: :clap:

I would recommend fishing there a dozen times...try different techniques each time...by that time you will have figured things out.

I have fishing A.D.D. and found that Crystal was way too slow for me.

oh yeah I think i have a case  of that! the ice is safe ton of ice it was over 20" thick it was rediculous to pop with a hand auger had a few fellow brothers who helped me out with a power auger and that even took some time!
