I have family with camp access so I have been trying to frequent Morrill more often lately.  So far my experience is that it can be VERY slow.  Any success we have had is in tight with smelts.  Good luck.

Well went to Morrill Pond today with the boy, had 8 traps in jigging one of the holes got 3 bass in 4 hours  pretty good size. Had one hit and run. I will try again soon but Moose Pond aka Moose lake has my attention for now.

If you are talking about the Lake George in Canaan then yes, it ended up being the new state record. If I remember correctly it was 7 pounds.
