Subway, it's on the way to a lake I fish and opens at 6 am . Just avoid tomatoes they will make the bread soggy by noon.

Usually some sausage or brats on a roll with mustard, if we're feeling fancy some onion to throw on top.

I always wanted to bring a propane burner and cook brats and heat up chilli. I can never break away from the fishing long enough to do that so I usually get a sub, chips, and slimjims on the way lol.

What I started doing last year was bring lunchables out with me.  Not a ton of food there, but enough to tide me over till im done, or the brews fill me up, whatever comes first

Usually don’t eat lunch on the ice when fishing solo, but I sometimes bring a thermos of soup (bacon cheddar potato seems to give me good luck with the crappie).

Now, if it is a group, anything that will fit on the Smokey Joe is fair game. Nothing beats charcoal…except charcoal with a jigging hole next to the grill.

^^^This!
I've also taken some smoked brats and put them in a thermos with some boiling water. Makes for a hot meal with out having to heat anything on the ice.

for coffee, I just use a small percolator pot, the kind with the glass nob on top.  coffee in the basket, water, put it on the little propane cooker, and voila!!  ez pz. If I dont bring out the propane cooker, then I have a jet boil, and I'll bring some instant coffee bags....kind of like tea bags.  Just something about fresh coffee on the ice.

Usually don't eat on the ice. If I'm catching fish I could sit out there all day and not care.  If the fishing is slow I get hungry and grab some fast food or gas station food on the way to the next spot.

I made a cooking grate for my Buddy heater.  I usually heat up chili, homemade soup or American chop suey (a New England thing). Sometimes also have Brats,  Metts or spiced beef tongue sandwich .

Usually when I’m out fishing by myself I’m too focus or preoccupied to get hungry, so it’s usually just tea/coffee, Gatorade, and soda. I almost strictly jig and hole hop, rarely setting any traps. But when I go out as a group with my friends that also guide, they usually bring out some stuff to cook. last few times it was grilled cheese with bacon... I have to say I’ll usually stop fishing for that.

Usually nothing other than maybe  a snack. Eat b'fast before heading out...fish all day or until limit caught...go home eat dinner...clean fish...repeat. Season is to short and unpredictable around here . Got to keep a line in the hole at all times and I can't do that if I'm feeding my face.
