Since the forecast looks bad, we went today. Had decent ice between 4.5 and 6 inches with no snow cover. Punched 15 holes and iced a few fish. Had several hit and spits as well as two chop offs. Judging by how fast the line was paying out the chop offs were Pike. Since the weather is going to suck for the rest of the week we are probably taking a break for a while and hope the ice doesn't break up.
