Jigging for Pike

Well ive always speared for pike but im looking to start jigging for them. What lures do should i use? Size? Colors?

Any thing would help would be great, Thanks.

got them on jig heads and minnows and little cleos thats when im goin for other fish. when i fish pike its a live or dead minnow on a tip up or bobber.

I have had great luck with lipless cranks.  If they don't hit a crank, usually I can call them in with it.  Then I pick up my other rod rigged with something else, and get them to hit that, or a tipup that is right there.  The colors I use are usually natural forage colors b/c the water I fish is clear.  If the water is stained or I am in deep water I will go with your typical bright pike patterns (hot orange, firetiger, chartreuse etc)  I use gold a lot too.

Bucktail Jig .... Orange head with white hair.  Can be tipped with a minnow or jigged aggressively on its own.

I do fairly well jigging rattletraps!

I caught many pike jigging, even when targeting other fish,
Ive had the best luck with small spoons and a piece of minnow, or minnow head. you name Ive had pike hit it.
