I am going to try a 25 series reel for pike this season. Do you guys think that may be to light? Pflueger Trion 4525GX is what I'm running. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

It will be fine. Personally I will use baitcasters or one size up reel, but that's my preference.
