41* sunny and pleasant. Supposed to be back towards normal by the weekend, not fond of the thoughts of a T-Storm after a possible light ice storm tomorrow but this is Michigan. All weather reports and forecasts subject to change without notice

Just hate the batten down the hatches type forecasts, hope they're wrong. Thursday - 1/4" of possible freezing rain then rain/fog and in the evening T-Storms and 50mph gusts possible. Friday - snow squalls with 25-30mph winds with gusts to 50mph. Saturday it starts settling down with Sunday sunny and 20(ish).

just went out side and cleaned the sewer grates off and dug them out for the rain water so our street does not flood like it has before.  yep that forecast we will be getting the same here is what made me think of cleaning those  sewer grates off. i don't want to have to get the waders out to clean them off as cars drive by splashing me... cold and dripping wet is no fun on a day i could be fishing.  when this stuff melts it will be a heck of a lot of water. i got to get some sump pumps worked on just to be ready for it and some pvc and a couple of couplers. but fishing is at the top of the list for now lol's so are those.

34*f snow then rain = slush so i already shoveled the drive to prevent tons of ice build up. time to go get some salt to salt the drive if i can? just don't want the cars surfaces  and the drive turning in to a big thick chunk of ice and snow with the car sliding around hitting each other trying to leave  lol's. j/k on the cars hitting each other just don't want to risk it.

40*F and dropping looks like tomorrow it will be gusting wind of up to 40 mph if you live in a area with power line that are not buried mite want to check on your generators if you got one.   like make sure the oil is changed and that they start and have gas?   just a tip some for you to check on the  the older family member you may want to check on them after the storm passes cause a elderly person could freeze to death with the temps predicted now for a the week end around Sunday. if they lose power you lose your heat too most of the time...

32* wind gusts to only 46 mph. Slush from yesterday has frozen on the side streets, tire shredders if you get out of the groove. Nasty, can't imagine what the access areas look like

14 below zero this morning, about 5 below right now, and supposed to get colder tonight. I'm up near Houghton/Hancock in the western U.P. I find this thread amusing. Oh yeah, we are also closing in on 300" of snow in some of the areas around here. Keweenaw County has 275 inches for the winter so far with another month at least to go.
