1to 3 inches of snow friday night will be gone by Sunday every little dose of snow will cool water that much more.. till good and frozen..

Lake erie at the michigan end I am reading are in the high 30's as in 36 to 38 *f should be perch near shore and walleye steel head are up in the huron river last I heard

Sag bay is 34 to 38 degree too so ice is not far away.. it those pockets of 40 to 48 *f on these lakes that are keepin walleye out further from shore then last year around this time..

On Side note the avarge wind direction has been south west so I am assuming the wind will be pradomment north west wind come winter... causimg the northern cold air jet stream to dip over michigan so assuming ice will be as far south as southren ohio and Indiana this year and good freeze on great lakes for fishing..

This jet stream dips over the dakotas ect out west on a north west wind it will puch the jet stream over michigan.. this is a added bonus.. but don't thing will have fishable ice on great lakes till january 15 minimum thinking in canals to the great lakes in south east michigan?

Currently 16*f with a high of 18*f today.. next week and a half three day from now all the forcast is in the 40's*f for a week and a half I am thinking every one will be on ice mid January around here..

13* here in Lakeview now. December is always a roller coaster for temperatures. Hoping to get out fishing In January . I haven't been able to get on the ice the last two years. Disability SUX!!!
Hoping this ice season will be different.
