It's not like 13 fishing can get more overpriced. Not a fan of their products so it won't effect me much.

I have 2 of there spinning rods that I use a lot. I have been using a Black Envy this year, jigging for walleyes and it has performed well. These were both given to me when I worked a the bait shop, they are a bit pricey, but the price was right...h2l

I'm pretty sure I heard that this is only for international distribution. 13 fishing is going to allow Rapala to sell and distribute products out of their international facilities. Rapala won't have any impact on 13 fishing's stateside operations.

I like the BB 6061 reel and some of their rods, but yes, they are overpriced.  I have found deals on them so not so high for me.  I just wondered if you guys thought Rapala would try to change them or what might the future hold........

That is exactly what I heard as well. I believe at one time Rapala help Shimano's  international distribution rights, when that fell through (1-2? years ago now) they needed to fill that space, so here we are today. We will see how it all plays out but I cant imagine much change happening within the next year or two.
