I only had it for a week free trial- but it did have some PA lakes. I used it on wallenpaupack- maybe somebody else can elaborate who uses it regularly.

look into Lakevu from Garmin.  Pay to play but might be worth it to you if the catalog covers the waters you fish.

I bought the subscription for boating+ believe it was $19.99 but it has most lakes I target it Western PA. I have found it to be a great tool to plan out areas to target before I head out and pair it with any structure maps I can find online.

I see there are two different apps. Marine charts and GPS and also GPS and Fishing Maps. Do you know if there is a difference or which is better for PA lake maps?

Navionics Boating is the best investment I ever made. Google "Navionics Webapp" and you can see their maps for free on your computer. You can check and see if they have your local lakes mapped.

It's $14.99 per year but I have not paid since the first year. You lose some functionality but keep what's important.
