Title: Central Jersey safe ice?

There were a couple of holes out there before the rain this weekend. I drove by yesterday afternoon and it all looked pretty locked up, but I did not venture onto the ice... looks like warm weather and more rain on Thursday will set it back again by the weekend

Post by: Noel Sell on Jan 24, 2019, 07:44 AM: I was out on a private pond in Central Jersey on Tuesday, Jan. 22nd and had exactly 4 inches. Another friend fished another private pond in Flemington area and had 3 to 3 1/2 inches. After this rain I would be extremely careful.

Post by: Gorilla on Jan 31, 2019, 07:08 AM: I drove by DM on my way home from work yesterday and the boat ramp area was locked up, gotta figure with the temps being what they are the ice might be safe for Saturday morning. Just wish we had a bait spot close by instead of trucking all the way to moulders.
