Title: shanty rentals in swanton

I was wondering if anybody knows if they still rent shanty's up in Swanton VT for ice fishing.They used to cut your holes supply tip ups,(suicide tip ups) bait and wood for the stove.Give you a ride out ,drill your holes and start the fire.We did this 20 years ago and it was different but fun.It used to be $55 for a day.I'm sure its almost doubled by now.I would like to bring my kids up if there still doing it.Please let me know,Thanks Dave

I believe you may be thinking of Gingras' hog island bait that used to rent out shanties, but they sold off their shanties a few years ago. You may want to try holiday harbor in north hero, or martins in highgate springs, both rent shanties.
