I don't know where you can get one but that's cool and might have to build something like that.

I think it's still in the development stages, but check out the MTT-136. YouTube has a few videos of it. All electric and pretty cool.  Good for all 4 seasons too. 😃

Amazing product; hope to see more of these available @ an affordable price. Would've been a great aid in mobility this season!

I would be real interested in how my state would try to regulate such a thing.  You don't need a license for a lawnmower, or a snowblower, or roto tiller, all of which are walk behind, self propelled motor driven gadgets.  No license for a riding lawn mower or lawn tractor.   So in that sense,  this is a tractor type thing.  You don't really ride on it.  But it has the same result as a snowmobile.

Come to think of it, why couldn't you take your lawn tractor out on the ice?

Found the actual one, http://snowdog.baltmotors.ru/?lang=eng  they go for around 1700-2300 depending on how much HP you want. It would be interesting as to how it would be classified for registration purposes if you had to. Its very much like a power wagon just with a tread may be able to get away with not needing anything for it.
