Tiber/ Far West End

Finally got out for the first time today. Great weather with NO WIND! Ice is close to 12" thick. Very few gas pockets have surfaced so far but one was found last week when a friend of a friend fell in.
Was out today for about 4 hours just getting set up and checking out the area again. I didn't have any bites in that time but my friend caught 3 small northern, 3 fair walleye (eaters), 3 perch and a rainbow today. He has been at it for 2 weeks and had good luck last Sunday and Monday, limiting on Walleye both days.
I will be back out in the morning to see if Santa left me any wall hangers on my set!
My lifelong quest is to find out if a 20 lb. walleye will fit through a ten inch hole.
