Anyone ever try one of these?
Seems like an interesting device.....or is it another "seemed like a good idea"things??

The price is cheap enough.  I'm not real stoked on having it clipped onto my rod but I might get one and rig it up to rod holder.  I wonder if it can be set with enough tension to hold a large shiner or sucker though.

I'll be laughing my butt off when they trigger and I see arms and legs flailing across the ice! Seen people run 100' for a flag slipping and sliding along the way...

Another "mine field"product

I have a few of these and like them for my deadsticks (4 lines allowed in SD).  Wonder why they haven’t “taken off”, as i don’t see them or hear about them often.
