Does your walleye season ever close? Ours here been closed over 2 weeks and doesn't open back up until May 1st

Yes it does close, from April 14th to the third Saturday in May every year, an effing long 5 weeks it is too… lol.

Crazy that you are still ice fishing. Here in southern Ontario we had fishable ice for about 2 weeks

We have double digit plus+C temps by Friday, we have roughly 3’ feet of ice, maybe a couple weeks max of ice fishing left.

I definitely feel bad for you southern guys, your ice season is short enough as it is on a normal year!
