Apparently first year tournament to help fish and game reduce number or macs in the lake to improve other numbers of fish.

Only about 15 spots left for the Perch Assault, if you are on the fence, time to make the leap! www.perchassault.com

Just wondering if anyone else that has signed up for the upcoming tournaments is concerned about the condition of the ice on Cascade.  The reports I'm seeing and hearing about make it sound a bit unsafe in places and the access to the ice is getting more difficult.  The forecast shows fairly warm temperatures for Cascade over the next week and a half so it seems that the lake won't get much better before it might get even worse.  Anyone know if the tournaments could be cancelled and money refunded?  Hoping that doesn't happen but if the ice is unsafe I would hope that is the choice that is made.  I'm mostly wondering about the Perch Assault tournament since that is the one I am signed up for but I'm guessing there are others that are curious that are signed up for the other two.  Any information that can be provided on this would be great.  Thanks.

Tight Lines!!

If it gets unsafe for machines than it goes too a walking only tournament I believe, and if its unsafe for walking than it will be cancelled. I believe I remember reading that last year on there rules sheet they gave out.

Thanks Duck Slayer!  We are looking forward to the tournament next weekend.  Sounds like the ice is holding up well considering the rain and above normal temperatures.  Good luck to you next week.

Just saw on Facebook- Tackle Tom cancelled next week's tournament, due to unstable ice conditions.
