Title: Crockpot Breakfast Casserole
Post by: Iceassin on Nov 26, 2019, 03:56 AM
Starting to plan our annual ice fishing trip and prepared/simple/easy meals are what we try do...chili, stew, tuna casserole, etc. But breakfast is one meal that takes time and can be a challenge to prep...until now. I thought "there has to be a better way". There is...and I found one. Gonna give this a shot. Anyone done anything similar?

Done this multiple times. Slow cooker liners make clean up a breeze. Can either eat this off a plate or make burritos with it depending on how you make it or like it. Lots of different ways you can change this recipe up too. Can add ham and English muffin chunks in it for more of an eggs benedict route or add Mexican ingredients for more a Mexican burrito style. Can also add cream of mushroom soup for more of a quiche style. Can also chunk up some biscuits and add sausage gravy. You won't be disappointed.

I haven't tried that one sounds interesting. I drive about 3 hours to my camp in New Hampshire with some of my coworkers once a year and we do a 24 hour omelette got recipes on Google prep it before bed cooks in about an hour and fills you up like eating lasagna sometimes i will cook it at home and bring it up so we just have to heat it up in the microwave. Aluminium pan paper plates plastic utensils no mess to clean
