I have a late 90's strikemaster Electra with a 7" lazer auger. I pulled the auger off to attach to a cordless drill. Is this auger the same 7" as the newer lasers? I only ask because the Electra is slow AF and I'm curious if the cutting edge was designed for this slow rotation or if it's just a standard 7". It also has a 7/8" diameter shaft, will the regular drill adapters work?
