« on: Dec 09, 2013, 08:31 PM »
Ive done my searching so don't tell me to search ha ha. My question is for the people that smooth out the drag, how is this done? Where do i need to put the grease in? I purchased one frabill 261 and one eagle claw aluminum spool inline. Their identical insides. Thanks alot guys

The drags on the eagle claws are meant to be dry. I found that some stray grease finds its way onto the drag assembly and causes the hang ups. I would recommend tearing it down and making sure the drag is CLEAR of grease and debris. Reassemble and see if it smooths out for you.

bought two eagle claw inlines. the cheap all black plastic spool and the red aluminum version. the all black has oil soaked felt type washer glued to the brass side gear. the aluminum version has a teflon washer at the same place

heres the all plastic black version and bottom right gear is the drag washer with the white stripe on black washer
