Tough going but worth the effort!

We earned the rewards today. Hit a small pond that had 20" of snow on it with about 8" slush. We managed 4 smallmout, 2  bows and my pb  Brown  ;D  Just over 17" .  Can't wait for this mess to freeze back up!

Biggest smallie my buddy caught @)  about the same size as the Brown. Trout all took crawlers and smallies on small shiners.

Tough going it was. Out on Winnipesaukee from Leavitt. Running a 400 Eiger 4 wheeler w/ chains and it is tough going. Got to little beaver island , in part following truck ruts, and set up. Bottom there (30 - 40 feet) good for cusk but not great for jigging. Picked up one 22" laker just as we were pulling up to go around 4PM. Little tougher getting back.. Gongrats on your effort catch.. nice
