Yo Fred,
i am waiting to hear from fishforpike to see what they got up there. The radar showed they were somewhat spared from the heavy snow. Don't know till we hear from the great wizard from the north country. ;D ;D ;D

Greetings everyone I'm down in the south eastern part of the state minor snow fall compared to many of you 4/5 inches be my estimate. Be careful if shoveling snow very heavy and water loaded no one needs a back injury or heart attack. I hope no one suffered major damage from this storm.

I "feel" for you guys! ;D
We got the ZERO to a dusting here, For once a nor-easter missed the great north country/st. lawrence valley, for the most part.
I'm out of the sugar shack for another day - my trees are sleeping/resting till the next warm day. :P

Isn't March usually more like "In like a lion, out like a lion?" I'm used to either standing in knee deep snow or pouring rain on Opening Day for trout!

16" in Constantia. It is settling fast.
-
I had to chainsaw cut my way out to get to town just now....power is still out at my house and surrounding area, 26 hours power out right now ...lots of trees and power lines down . Not a ton of snow but it was sticky wet snow stuck to every branch and the wind was BRUTAL all night and day yesterday. ...sucks, but just have to deal with it. I will move all my winter fish fillets to my neighbors later, they have a generator going.
Cobleskill NY got 39 inches!
-

West of I 81 has been mostly spared over the past 2 weeks (in the SouthernTier at least). We have gotten a total of 4 to 6 inches in that time and most of it has either melted/settled or blown off. Only about 2 inches on the ground in the valleys. A little more than that on the hill tops. Sorry to hear about all the power outages. Stay safe digging out everyone!

I'm hoping I can get to my fishing hole lol ...... and park
