Kdrill with clam plate
« on: Dec 27, 2017, 12:23 PM »
I know this topic has been brought up before but I want feedback from the folks around the state that may or may not have tried this setup. I just purchased a kdrill 8 inch and a clam plate. I've got both rec. Drills. Milwaukee and dewalt. Both are the highest power 1/2 inch drills both company's sell. I guess my questions are
1) which drill works the best?
2) which would people prefer to use?
3) do I need to get the gearbox for the clam plate?
How many holes have people been getting with either drill combo?
I've done quite a bit of reading but want some opinions from people around the great state of MONTANA.
America is all about speed hot, nasty, bad a** speed

I've got the milwaukee hammer drill and just use the handle that comes with it and see no use of the clam plate as being necessary. I use mine with a nils auger
