Battery operated "jigging" tip-up"

does anybody use the battery operated "jigging" tip-up?  are they legal in Montana??  If anybody has used these please post a review.  They look like they might work pretty well for walleye on the lakes where we cannot use live bait.... LMK (i dont think they are legal here but correct me if I am wrong)

i got one as a gift and i tried it about 6 times.  that was my thought,  walleyes.  good idea, bad design and craftsmanship.  it jams up and will not jig.  the tip-up part is not good either. i ended up taking the motor off and use it as a back up tip-up.  no buy is my thought

I would have to agree with eyes we bought two of them and they did not even last one trip out on the water.
