Navionics in garmin?
« on: Dec 02, 2015, 10:52 AM »
For many years I ran hunting dogs and one of the pieces of equipment I have left over is a good functioning Garmin 220. This unit can track dog collars but also can be used with a map chip as a normal GPS. I'm wondering if there is a chip or a place i can download to a chip lake maps. I do have Navionics on my phone but would kind of like to keep it in my inside pocket safe from the elements. The Garmin unit is pretty weather proof.

Thanks for any help!

Mike

Have you looked at Otter Box or LifeProof case fro your phone? They even make floating cases. I can't remember who makes it but there is case with battery pack built in to keep your phone charged.

I am living proof that life proof cases sink!  LOL

I will check out the Lake VU HD.

THANKS!
