Title: Fishing Line

 What line do you guys like for gills. I like Triline Micro Ice 2# but thinking about trying Stren Gold & Berkly Vanish. Any thoughts out there.

If it was me, I'd stick with the 2#Micro Ice.  I tried Vanish and had a lot more break offs than I like.  I tried the Gold a long time ago and I guess it was OK.  It sure is visible for tightlining.  I'd run a 2 foot leader of Seaguar Carbon Ice if I was going to use it again.  Just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards the Micro Ice its really worked well for me.

for all panfish fishing I use 2 lb trilene clear walleye northerns I use 4 lb

This year I'm using the Gold Stren with a two foot leader of the pflourocarbon - either two or three pound depending on the rod.  I've only been able to get out twice this year and had good success on both trips.  Last year I used the Berkley Ice Line and liked it ok.  I'm just trying something new...and so far so good.

I just put Stren Gold on one of my poles thought I' d give it a try. A friend of mine only uses Stren Gold & he does real well with it.

i like the trilene cold weather i think(blue colored one) six pound for every type of fishing.

I always use 4# fireline and then a 2 foot leader of Stren 2#.
