Looking for the best braid..Fishing 25-50',1/2-1 ounce jig.
In the process of trying Suffix 832 in 40lb.
If I went from 40lb to 20lb would I have less ice up on the line and reel?
Please help...Thanks

Smaller diameter will ice up less. Most of all it's far easier to strip the ice off the smaler line.
I used Sufix 832 50# and Spiderwire Stealth 50# but that was in the warmth of the shelter only.
