Plastic auger bit chafing?
« on: Feb 07, 2022, 02:44 AM »
Anyone notice the chafing on these plastic auger bits?  Just tried my new 24v STrikemaster and the sides seem a bit chewed. Are these going to just wear in or is a sign of an issue with the bit?

I will say that i was very disappointed with the battery life. Only drilled a dozen holes on a single battery.

i have a pistol bit and have not noticed anything wearing. How deep was the ice when you only got a dozen holes? has battery life improved?
