Release must be calmer and more relaxed now that he's caught some fish.

He must have been getting pretty antsy about that fat lady singing.

Well I got out today fished from 8:00-2:00 kept 26 had 14 that were 10-13” also landed 2 notherns , loads of sorting

Forgot to mention I was checked by the DEC yesterday , he was a younger officer we chatted for a bit , I asked what he needed just the license and to take a look at my fish , he was polite and professional, he gave me his card and went on about his business,

Well got out for perch today fished from 8:30-2:30 , tough to fool the dinks today , ended up with 23 most were 9-10” and I tossed in a few 8.5” males , not worth a pic , but they’ll eat and I’m still walking on water 👍🏻

I got my grand kids on the bus and life was good until I turned around and a pair of robins and a pair of red wing blackbirds showed up , hope it was just a hallucination , I’m not ready to hang up my spud 🤨

Maybe they were just a couple of scouts checking things out before the rest of the flock shows up from Florida...

I hope Release scared them off and told them where to go!

Nights are still going a bit below freezing, but it's beginning to warm up during the day again...Especially after this weekend...Watch yourself!
