Is the light too heavy to be attached to the flag? That way the light would be higher, as well as turned on when triggered.Ted

Never tried it but to be honest these lights are very bright even with a foot or 2 of snow they still can be seen with ease. I usually put them around 50 to 100 yards from the shanty and you never have to guess if its your light or something else.Note: the cheapest ones don't have a on off switch so you have to take out the batteries after each night (I'm not going to lie this does suck when it's cold out cause you cant do it with your gloves on) but there are some out there that have a on off switch on them, they are black and cost any where from $10 to $20 for a 4 pack. Still cheaper than the other tip up lights.
