There is no "soon enough." Unless you live in the arctic.  I feel like I get reverse seasonal depression, and it goes away once it gets cold.

I hope it gets the walleye or perch biting on Boysen tomorrow as that is where I will be! First time out on Boysen since just before the 4th of July. Hopefully the water has cooled down quite a bit.

I hope to catch a few of those along with some walleyes, panfish, and maybe even a pike or two when I head back to my family's cabin in northeastern Michigan in October to few for a couple of weeks. Could be some salmon around as well in the rivers or harbors.
