I and my 9 year old daughter are planning to head up to Magic on Saturday. I haven't fished magic before though I have driven by the Hotsprings/Moonstone arm regularly. I understand due to water levels the north end is a no go, so we'd be looking at the main body. From what I have read the two areas we should be generally looking at is near the Dam or the West Resort. We will be driving an AWD vehicle (not a 4x4). We will be coming up from Twin Falls taking highway 75. Access wise, what will be looking at? Which will be easier to access, the dam or West Resort? And does one spot or the other generally produce better than the other? Not looking for jumbos, just something to keep a 9 year old smiling. PM if you prefer rather than posting.
