I have an Eskimo stingray 8" coming from Cabelas. Ordered it online and hopefully will be here before the weekend. Time to retire my 20 year old hand auger.  ;D

Glad they even have power augers for us old farts!!!

I did magic a few years back by hand on 24" of ice. Needless to say, didn't move a whole lot...

I have a Eskimo Stingray that I got 3 years ago and I love it. The only down fall to mine is it has the 10 inch auger. Its nice when you trying to catch big fish but not when your looking for smaller ones.

Congrats on a good choice ID fisher, may it live long and treat you right.
As you may know, the first few times you run it can equate to a much longer life of the engine. So, with that in mind, here is what many have found to be best.

Scroll down to Reply # 557 for the intro and #558 for the procedure.  Happy augering.

With that done, you are welcome to join the club, just go to the last page there and say a few kind words.
On the last page( 95 as of today) Surflizard gives a little insight on how and why this all came about and how to get the red badge of Eskimo, in Reply # 1897.
