Hey guys and gals, use this thread to let us know if you can make it on Sat. Feb. 25th hopefully to Magic Resevoir in south/central Idaho. Please let us know how many people you will be bringing, approximately.

We would like to have a general head count by Feb 15 so we can plan accordingly.

Looks like it could be maybe burgers and brats and potluck...

Count me in, I am sure Rip-N-Lips and I will be riding together. I hear something about a fishing derby that same weekend at Majik? We will have to get some specific meeting point on the lake, provide GPS coordinates and FLY OUR FLAGS HIGH!!!!! Would be nice if someone has good info on fishing the lake so someone in our group could win something...last time we went there were hundreds of perch on the bottom, but none of them would bite, we did hook a hog of a trout though!

That is the day before I head to Vegas. I will do everything in my power to be there. Hopefully Liv2hnt and I can ride together. This is a one day deal? Anyone else want to carpool? You can PM me if want to ride along.

Still have my fingers crossed that I get that day off. Now they're saying we're getting beets from the Twin Falls factory and slice will be ending for us sometime around the 20th. There is usually a week of clean-up, still shift work 24hrs a day until it's done. Hope they don't freeze me on shift past that fri. We'll see....

Hey Guys,

We need to keep an eye on the temps. Would still like to do Magic if most are up for that. They still don't have a definite on when we're done slicing beets so I'm still not sure about if I even get to make it.

Alot of us are focussed on the Cascade Cup Derby coming this weekend. Starting next week, temps staying cold of course, we'll plan on Magic. I'm only familiar with west side resort. Is that a good place to meet or can someone think of a better spot? I'll pitch in $ for brats and burgers. We'll get better organized on food and such early next week.

If any of you have a shanty flag plan on bringing it. I'd like to try to get a 'Team Spudsickle' flag done up...I'll work on it. We'll get better organized starting mon....

I will be bringing a shanty flag, trying to figure out a flag pole right now!! Hopefully going to have it attached to my Rhino. Talked to someone today that said there was lots of ice at majik out near the island area. Have only been there once so i dont know the lake at all!

Hey guys, went to Biscuit Island on Sunday, 12" of ice and no bites so I went back over towards the docks and fished right below the Dam Fools club house which is right next to the west side lodge, there is about 15" ice there and I caught some nice trout. Hope to make it up there to meet you guys.

Nope, sorry. The last of our beets are spoiling and we have to slow down the slice to get the maximum sugar extract from them. Slowing down the slice rate means it takes longer to slice what we have left.

Sure you guys will manage just fine without me...if not, wow are you in serious trouble!!!
