Elliott Evolution Series 44 L
« on: Dec 31, 2021, 07:39 PM »
Anybody seen one of the Evolution Ice Series – ES44L-F available online? I’m guessing I’m SOL for this year but still looking. Should’ve just got one at the Dakota Angler Ice Institute. Let me know if you find anything! Much appreciated!

I have the 42 noodle that should be here tomorrow  :P

I did a little searching for the 44 L just now and it seems you might just be SOL.

Will see how the Elliott rods build quality compares to my TUCR, St-Croix CCI and Gloomis IMX Ice series.

I've been fishing with the 42 Noodle a couple weeks now and love it. Just love fishing with longer rods, plays the fish so much nicer. They really rock when it's windy as your tip is closer to the hole and less bow in the line and you feel the bites better. I paired mine with a Daiwa QZ750 and it is light.

I have the new 41" UL from eyeconic that I need to get some fish with this year, I may be looking for advice on how to fish with these long rods. only experience I have had is with actual long-rods (48-55" UL open water rods) for hole hopping shallow areas. Feels good, really light tip and strong blank, but I dont know what the Elliot is like to compare it. I do like the telescoping part, wish they would make it lock in both short and long "mode" though.

Got the 42 noodle today, build quality is excellent.

I did however take some dry wall sand paper 100 grit and sanded the front taper down to level, came out perfect and feels amazing.

It reminds me of the bullwhip but 42" and with syncork..

The tip of the rod is Orange, I thought it was gonna be Yellow???

Manning1987 - not sure if you saw this, but I was looking in the FishUSA site and they have this rod that you were looking for.
