I had the pleasure of meeting Himo and his family and I'm telling ya you couldn't meet a better man to run this show. Can't wait to get on the Ice with him and do some serious fishing.

OK, I can't resist any longer... I'm from WI, the Beloit area(yeah, I know) love my barley pops and respect other fisherman... even the ones that tie up boat launches, LOL However, I am new at this hardwater stuff, got my new portable shanty, stole my vex from the boat, and had a buddy make me a deal I couldn't refuse on an auger so I'm waiting to try it out if we ever get a freeze. Do I qualify???

Holy Cow..lots of Goats over in the Wisc. herd.......Welcome all.
Unfortunatley the MA Goats haven't all come out of hibernation yet. Then again they don't have desk jobs as Bj and I. The closer the ice gets the more they will be around to talk fishing. Looking forward to a great season, stories and pictures from everyone.

I'm just jealous that you guys might be ice fishing before us!!!!!

Hey everyone,
I sure do wish I could become a goat, I now reside in Minnesota, but have lived in Wisconsin most of my life. Due to a traumatic brain injury I attend the Courage Center near Minneapolis, though now only possesing 50% of my brains capacity makes it easier to relate to Woman and Viking fans. I try and spend 100 days a year on the hard water, and am working on a trip out on the ice with some other Courage Center patients. I grew up near Shell Lake, Wisconsin and this will be the first year since 72 that I wont be hunting come November. I will be swilling in camp, but until my vision gets better I will be happy being camp cook and story teller. I've been on the outside looking in too long, I sure would like a set of them nifty horns, thats fer sure... Well take care and I'm easy to recognize on the hard water I'm wearing the stylin hockey helmet while chasin flags...

Nothing would make make me happier than to check in my Tip-up for a set of horns....I wont let the goats down, and would love to help host an event someplace in Northwestern Wisconsin. One thing I do have these days is time... Thanks again for letting me join such a prestigous group....

Due to some meds I am unable to drink for a couple weeks so I am not sure if I am goat material...yet. When a bunch of us from work go out together fishing we harass this guy named Chad that goes with us. We go Chhhaaaaaaaddd (like a goat would) all day so I have some goat training.

I was the second goatboy in the wisconsin chapter and I don't drink either. I used to pound em down with the best of them,but I am a diabetic now with a young family to support and all I want to do is hang around long enough to pass the tradition of icefishing on to my two boys. That way I'll have two goats to pass on when I'm long gone.baaaaaah
