THIS IS HOW I REFER TO HIGH WINDS. DEFFINATELY NOT GOOD 4 ICE. WAS THINKING ABOUT GOING IN THE MORNING AFTER WORK BUT I AM SERIOUSLY DOUBTING IT NOW. MIGHT BE A WHILE. STAY SAFE, GOOD LUCK, IF YOU VENTURE OUT...

 Would be hard to fish in 50mph plus winds, shanty or not.

WITH ALL THE RAIN AND HIGH WINDS I THINK THE ICE IS NOW SHOT AT LEAST FOR A COUPLE WEEKS, JUDGING BY THE EXTENDED FORECAST.

48 degrees, thunder, lightning with heavy wind and rain moving through the Anderson area right now.  Sounds about the same through Friday, then it cools off and the ice storm moves in.

Lots of water and waves on everything nearby..besides that, you could ski behind a sailboat tonight..not looking good for retaining ice.

the ice is shot?? 12 hours of above freezing??
dude put down the crack pipe and go fish!
edges werent even soft tonight. we had rain all day...
seriously its not all safe but there is safe ice...just use your head and send a fat friend first...its not that hard to figure out!!
the ice in my glass of crown hasnt even melted and its been refilled twice!!!
hawks are just fancy chickens but they taste the same....well at least fried
