So this is a new rule that has came out after the issue of the 2014/15 regs.   Are they going to mail every one a latter stating this? 

Kinda hard to enforce a rule when the book does not show it.

Sounds like they will be making new posters and distributing like they did before. They were amazed at how fast the news traveled on sites like this, so they are hoping the same happens when they "revise" their posters. Like Wyopro said, the snagging statute can't be changed overnight, but they can enforce it differently until then.

they said the language and intent would need changed so as to disclude alot of those types of setups from getting someone in trouble, basically needed to tighten up the language. there was some confusion on some of the rigs brought to the meeting. it should all be cleared up now I believe

There was some talk on here of spinnerbaits and worm harnesses being considered illegal somehow because of this pegged bead talk... Did anyone with the game and fish make any comments on those rigs too?  My assumption all along was those rigs were fine.

Gem, there wasn't much concern shown to the walleye style rigs, the way I understood it they're all still considered legal because the attractants are not pegged and they are fished with a worm or other bait.
