I've been ready for a month. Unfortunately, I have about a month left to wait still...

I have already ordered and received jigs, dual beam show down, power auger and 4 more rods.

Got a set of skis to build a new sled, and some other hardware for another project in the making.

Propane is filled, still need some stuff, need to buy some spikes and trap many.more minnows this coming week.

We can purchase everything but cold weather.     Green River water temp this morning was 32.7
The river temp dropped eight degrees in 5 days.
We're getting there!

Heck ya....

I've had the shanty set up in the garage for a few weeks now pimping it out a bit. I've been ordering up a bunch of new stuff and my wife is going to be PO'd if she finds out. I find it helps to ship to a friends house and then smuggle it in. By the time she sees it and asks me when did you get that I can honestly say I've had it for a while..... hee hee  ;D

I found a used gas auger for free the other day...had not been used for 3 years - and is probably 20+ years old.  New diaphragm for the carburetor should be here this week....and then...fingers crossed!

Otherwise...I have been putting stuff on my Christmas list and trying to get my stuff organized.  I do not have a lot, so mostly it is just picking through and dreaming of just a little more (which I know will never stop!).

I just got my tackle together. I am going to take some broken poles that I have and make ice rods out of them here later tonight. Cleaned out the trunk of the car and I am going to put the auger and gear in tonight to go along with the softwater rods I carry. Going out tomorrow for a farewell to the softwater trip. I plan on hitting alot of places for a little while each ;D I may just end up at Hattie though ;)
