Just returned from Hell Creek.
Fishing was good, had slow days.
Northerns 8#- 15#,
Walleyes2#-5#
Lake trout 8#-10#.
The weather was something else, highs -5*to 17*, lows -27 to -31, good ice, 18"-24"of fresh snow.
Still had a good time.
Looking forward to next year.

Sounds fun and challenging! Glad you had a good trip Steve!

How was getting around with all the fresh snow?
-
4 wheelers with chains, slow going but we got around.
Lucky the wind wasn't blowing.
Out of 8 guys @ 6 tip ups ea., only lost one.
It was a new experience for a few guys with us.
Looking forward to next year already.
Have rooms already booked.
Tight lines

Any pressure ridges to know about, going up there next Monday and was thinking about crossing the channel to the north side.
-
2 pressure ridges in bay, can go around on the east or west side of the bay,
1 pressure ridge going west at the H marker have to go around on shore.
1 going east and 1 across Sutherland.
Check with Clint or Lane, they will fill you in.

Thanks for the info, Only second time going to peck so don't know where the H marker is. Hopefully the snow pack reduces a little bit by next week. seeing snow in the forecast though won't help.
